Friday, May 2nd, 2008

My first facebook app, Freelancer, released. It’s all about exposing yourself as a freelancer or a talent in your respective profession. Try this alpha version and please give me feedback on how I can make it better. Cheers.

I will update the status asap.

Update: Now waiting for approval from facebook to put it under the App Directory. Thanks for your support!

7 May: Finally being approved. Looking for some brilliant members coming from other parts of the world :D

Failed to get approved by Adsense

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Got the reply from Google Adsense yesterday. And yes, failed. WTF.

I think I have underestimated the approval process, as I just give this site for them to check. The reason for not getting approved, according to what Adsense team said, is “Site under construction or lack of content”:

建置中。目前您的網站內容不夠豐富,Adsense 計劃要求網站提供豐富的內容,請先完善您的網站內容。

Hey come on, I promise I’ll write interesting things everyday onwards ok? Just get my application passed!

Now I have to create some pages for the purpose. So stupid. Wait for my updates.

Updated (21 May 2008): Finally it was approved. I was lazy at last and just resubmit the this site again, and get approved! Cheers.

Revival of dannykok.com

Sunday, April 13th, 2008

Finally, back to life again after 3 years.

Foreseeing the next 10 years would be exciting in my life, I want to put down my ideas and experiences somewhere. I need a place again.

As I just want to start the web site with minimal effort, the alpha version contains only a blog, and a default look-and-feel modified a bit on the theme :p. Thanks to WordPress, which Iet me bring up the site in minutes. It is now being hosted on Amazon EC2.

Say hello to everyone.
