My “meme”

Just tried Yahoo Meme. An enriched version of Twitter, with more comprehensive multimedia support – photos, videos and audios. In fact it’s not bad at all. Maybe it’s the product which replaced Yahoo 360º ?

R.I.P Michael. You have been so brilliant. But why you’re gone so soon?

My dearest grandma just left the world peacefully.
Were you just waiting for us to come? I felt deep sorry for coming so late.
I feel so excited to see such move, especially after receiving so many requests on “IE 6 is a must-catered” or “why not IE 6 looks the same great? Please fix.” from client.
My reply is always the same. “Because IE 6 sucks.”. Catering IE 6 lowers web standard. Continue to support IE 6 will require a compromise on user experience and site performance. Therefore being a product leader, dropping off IE 6 support is a reasonable move, but then it’s totally unacceptable from sales/marketing. I believe 37 Signals has made a harsh decision, but yet the best one IMO.
Hope the IE-6-Phase-Out-Day for Goovii* arrives soon.
*Goovii is one of my current in-charge product. It is currently adopted in freeBlog of HKCSL.
